SMR (UK) Ltd offers the Batch Mix 

solution via Mobile Mixing Units 

The mobile units can travel to site to recycle the spoil on site, this is called Yard to Yard. The mobile units can go into customers own permitted yards and recycle the utility waste that has been brought in by the grabs, negating the need to travel to landfill to tip or to collect aggregate from a quarry as it can all be done at one central location. 

SMR Production Compliance 

In 2004 the Wrap Quality Protocol for the Production of Recycled Aggregates from Inert Waste was Introduced. The document sets out a clear auditable process to enable recycling companies to fully recover their waste back into a product. Prior to this protocol, recycled product technically still remained a waste until it was fully reinstated into a structure. SMR (UK) Ltd ensures that all of their recycling facilities have a tailor made WRAP compliant Quality Protocol.

We are proud to confirm that over 2 million tonnes recycled into the Utility sector have yet to result in a reinstatement failure. This is the result of the unique performance of SMR treated spoil which provides a fully bonded reinstatement compared to the traditional block and Beam effect the foam concrete and Type 1 creates.
