purchases product from within the European Union.

Our supply chains

Our supply chains include suppliers of building materials

Our policies on slavery and human trafficking

We are committed to ensuring that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in our supply
chains or in any part of our business. Our Anti-slavery Policy reflects our commitment to acting
ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships and to implementing and enforcing
effective systems and controls to ensure slavery and human trafficking is not taking place anywhere
in our supply chains.

Due diligence processes for slavery and human trafficking

As part of our initiative to identify and mitigate risk we pay decent wages and monitor our staff to
ensure their wellbeing. Our Manager’s are given online training and encouraged to report any
suspicious behaviour that may relate to Modern Slavery.

We are committed to:

• Identify and assess potential risk areas in our supply chains.
• Mitigate the risk of slavery and human trafficking occurring in our supply chains.
• Monitor potential risk areas in our supply chains.
• Protect whistle blowers.

Supplier adherence to our values

We have zero tolerance to slavery and human trafficking. To ensure all those in our supply chain and
contractors comply with our values we have in place a supply chain compliance programme. This
consists of: a questionnaire sent out annually to all suppliers. Our buying department monitors the
responses.

Training

To ensure a high level of understanding of the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking in our
supply chains and our business, we provide training to our staff.

Our effectiveness in combating slavery and human trafficking

We make sure that all our staff are paid above minimum wage and at a rate that is the appropriate
for the role they are undertaking. We check all right to work documents and offer help for any
problems our staff may have. Our managers take, very seriously, the wellbeing of their staff. We look
out for any signs of Modern Slavery and would take prompt action if there was the slightest evidence
of any sign of abuse of any type.

SMR (UK) Ltd has a small team of employees, and the Board of Directors has reviewed the provisions
and requirements of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and is satisfied that there is no evidence of slavery
or human trafficking in either its own business or in its supply chain.
